The fifteen photomontages were created for the Ph.D. thesis Writing Literary Theory: John Cage’s Literary Work and the Revision of Critical Commentary written by Charles Robert Simard, and randomly inserted inside the pages. The visual art works used various techniques loosely inspired by John Cage’s aesthetics. The beauty of the illustrations and their integration within the body of the text were highlighted by the members of the evaluation jury.

Les quinze photomontages ont été conçus pour la thèse doctorale Écrire la théorie littéraire : l’œuvre littéraire de John Cage et la révision du commentaire critique rédigée par Charles Robert Simard, et insérés aléatoirement dans ses pages. Les œuvres utilisaient des méthodes librement inspirées de l’écriture et de l’œuvre graphique de John Cage. La beauté des illustrations et leur intégration dans le corps du texte ont été soulignées par les membres du jury d’évaluation.
