Chantal Poirier est artiste graphiste et animatrice culturelle. Détentrice d’un baccalauréat en Animation et recherche culturelles et d’un certificat en Arts plastiques de l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Elle s’implique activement au sein du Collectif de Babel depuis 2009 à titre d’organisatrice et d’artiste. Elle a créé en 2010 sa propre boutique en ligne, Poicha confection, où elle vend ses créations graphiques. Sa technique artistique privilégie la photographie comme matériau brut, le réemploi et le photomontage sur plateforme informatique.
Chantal Poirier is a visual artist, social and community worker from Montreal. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Promotion and Research, as well as a Certificate in Visual Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal. Both as a performing artist and organizer, she is actively involved in the Collective of Babel since 2009. In 2010, she created her own company online, Poicha confection, where she sells her creations. Her artistic technique favours photography as a raw material, reuse and infographic photomontage.
